OUR APPROACH

Energy Savings Certificates (CEE) are a key funding mechanism for industrial energy efficiency projects. As a CEE-authorized representative, Lemon Energy supports you from the initial study phase to ensure you don’t miss any eligibility opportunities.

1.

Identification of the Eligible Project

We assess the feasibility of your project and identify the CEE measures applicable to your site based on standardized specifications. For site-specific projects, we prepare the technical documentation required to secure CEE funding from obligated energy suppliers.

2.

Preparation of the Technical Application File

We conduct the energy audit and calculate projected savings in kWh cumac. For specific CEE projects, we also prepare the required regulatory sizing documentation.

3.

Securing Funding Incentives

Signing of the CEE agreement, verification of supporting documents, and finalization of the administrative application. Our engineers monitor the installation’s performance through to final submission and receipt of the funding incentive.

Combine Public Funding Schemes: Multiple Grants Available

Beyond CEE funding, a wide range of public grants can help finance your energy efficiency projects. These schemes can be combined under certain conditions, provided applications are initiated before work begins. When combined effectively, they can cover a significant share of your investment—an average of 43% of CAPEX across our projects.

Heat Fund

Funded by ADEME, the Heat Fund supports the replacement of fossil fuel systems with renewable heating and cooling solutions, as well as related district heating network projects. It is particularly well suited to industrial sites with high steam or hot water demand.

ADEME (France 2030 / Decarb’IND)

These funding schemes target the reduction of industrial greenhouse gas emissions. They support projects combining energy efficiency, changes to the energy or material mix, and CO₂ capture.

Regional and European Funding

Local and regional authorities, as well as the European Union, offer additional funding, particularly through the ERDF. Some schemes are awarded through calls for projects with application deadlines that need to be anticipated.
